SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician performs various tasks that contribute to the overall maintenance and upkeep of all agency programs and their adjacent grounds and provides support to the Director of Plant Operations.

  • Assist and provide back up to the Director of Plant Operations in ensuring that each and every building is operating at maximum efficiency and is safe and secure for employees, volunteers, clients, and visitors.
  • Perform lawn maintenance as required.
  • Strip and wax all floors in all agency programs as directed.
  • Use a broad spectrum of skills covering such trades as carpentry, plumbing, roofing, air conditioning, electrical, painting in day-to-day activities.
  • Undertake special maintenance projects in all agency programs as directed.
  • Help keep the Center of Hope's client rooms in good order by repainting, repairing and/or readying rooms for new admissions while seeing to other maintenance issues in rooms of existing clients.
